Angus Boarding & Walkies is a fully licensed and insured, family-owned pet care company based in the peaceful village of Letham, Angus.
We offer dog boarding and day care based out of our home, a long semi-detached bungalow with a fully fenced back garden. We also offer drop-in visits for (almost) any pet, private dog walking, and pet taxi services, anywhere across Dundee and Angus.
When dogs stay with us, whether overnight or for the day, they have freedom to roam most of the house. They have access to the back garden as often as they wish, and on dry days we frequently leave the back door open for them to wander in and out at will. Your dog’s comfort is our priority.
Who we are
Our services
£25 per night
While your dog is in our care, they will be loved and treated as part of the family. They will be taken to the parks and beaches, showered with cuddles, given treats, and allowed to sleep on the sofas and beds. They are allowed to free roam through most of our house and can go into our fully-fenced back garden as often as they wish. We work and school from home, so your dog won’t be left alone.
Home Boarding
£15 for 60 mins
We offer exclusive dog walking, where dogs are walked only with their own siblings and our Cockapoo, Jolene. And if you prefer, we can leave JoJo at home, too. We typically offer 60-minute walks, though we’re happy to contract for shorter or longer by request. We can do on-lead or off-lead, fast paced or stop-and-smell-the-roses, depending on the owner’s request and the dog’s needs. Have your pup join us as we explore the many beautiful trails across Angus!
Exclusive Walks
£20 per day (up to 12 hours)
Sometimes you need somewhere for your dog to play for the day. Maybe you work from home and need some focus time. Maybe you’re away from home and don’t want them to be alone all day. Send your pup round to us and they can spend the day playing with JoJo! While they’re with us they’ll have at least one long walk (often two) and meals if the timing coincides. They’ll return home sleepy and happy.
Doggy Day Care
£10 per visit
For drop-ins, your pet remains in their home and we stop by to feed them and give them attention. You tell us exactly what you’d like and how often: some owners want us to come in and out quickly for a simple food/water/litter change, some want us to spend time playing with their pets, some simply need us to stay for a while to monitor health issues or so that their fur babies aren’t alone all day.
Whether it’s a long-term arrangement or a temporary setup while you’re on holiday, we’ll ensure your pets are well cared for in your absence.
Drop-In Visits
£5 per 30 minutes
If you need to transport your pet but can’t drive them there yourself, give us a call! We’re happy to drive almost any pet to almost any place, across the country.
You might need help getting your pet to vet appointments. You might need pickup/drop-off assistance to bring your dog to day care or boarding at our house. Or you might be moving homes and need someone to transport your animals from one home to the next. We can help. We have specialised seat belts for dogs and pet carriers for cats and small animals.
Please note that the timer starts when we leave our house. We will provide you with a quote when you book, so that there are no surprises!
Pet Taxi

Drop-ins for rabbits and guinea pigs, where we feed them and give them some time in their runs
